Manila, June 10, 2024 - Six Sigma PH proudly announces the successful completion of its 2024 Lean Six Sigma Black Belt for Service Industry program, conducted from April 5 to June 8, 2024. This year's program adopted a hybrid format, combining face-to-face sessions for the initial five days and the closing day with interactive Zoom sessions. This innovative approach leveraged technology to enhance participant engagement and optimize learning objectives.

Participants mastered essential Lean Six Sigma tools and sharpened their facilitation skills during in-person sessions designed to prepare them for real-world projects within their organizations. Unlike traditional programs focusing solely on theoretical knowledge, Six Sigma PH's training emphasized practical application tailored to each participant's unique work environment.

"We crafted our Black Belt curriculum specifically for the service industry," remarked Rex Tuozo, "The Six Sigma Guy" Six Sigma Master Black Belt of Six Sigma PH. "While other programs continue to follow the GE and Motorola curriculum meant for engineers and statisticians in manufacturing in the ’80s, our approach is agile and directly applicable to service industry companies (Which includes Banks, Financial Services, Healthcare, Retail, Hospitality, Professional Services, ITBPO, AI & Crypto operations, Logistics, Construction, Government services, Non-Profit, etc.)."

In addition to comprehensive Lean Six Sigma methodologies, participants deepened their understanding of change management tools critical for executing successful DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) projects. They also specialized in facilitating the Six Sigma Circuit™, an exclusive methodology developed by Six Sigma PH. It promises to accelerate process improvement initiatives and potentially reduce project timelines by up to two months.

Moreover, Six Sigma PH announced a new initiative where all students will be assigned a Black Belt mentor to guide them through their projects until they attain their Black Belt certifications. Additionally, Black Belt students will be given the opportunity to mentor Green Belts/s, enhancing their Six Sigma mentoring and coaching skills.

The culmination of the 2024 Lean Six Sigma Black Belt for Service Industry program showcased participants' projects, demonstrating measurable enhancements in service delivery and operational efficiency across diverse sectors. Six Sigma PH remains steadfast in its commitment to equipping professionals with practical skills that drive significant organizational transformation.

The waitlist is now open for those interested in participating in the 2025 Six Sigma Black Belt for Services program.
